Apart from the standard features, Shipwaves would customize some parts of the software to suit the needs of each customer after the initial discussions and requirement gathering

As part of the customer onboarding, Shipwaves team will work closely with the SPOC’s to configure and setup the user environment. This would include, but not limited to, creating the user groups, user accounts and assistance in creating templates for uploading the shipment data. Shipwaves onboarding team will conduct remote training sessions to train the staff on the usage of the platform.

Shipments can be created by any of the three options

  • Create shipments through the platform’s user interface forms
  • Bulk update or upload using excel
  • Directly from your ERP using API integration

  • Shipping B/L Number or Booking Number
  • Ocean Liner/carrier Name

Shipwaves uses various sources which includes Satellite AIS data, port data, and carrier data to triangulate your container.

Currently we do not, and we are in the process of developing the road transportation visibility. However, we can integrate with your land transport provider to give a end-to-end visibility.

Shipments can be searched using the shipper’s PO #, reference #, Shipment #, MBL #, Carrier Booking #

Yes, it is possible to do API integration with the internal ERP or WMS systems.

Yes, milestone emails can be customized based on the requirements.

A user name and unique password would be created for all the users as part of the onboarding exercise. The email address would be the default username. Shipwaves will activate the user accounts and share the details to the designated admin of your company.

Once the user is activated user can go to the web page of Shipwaves (app.shipwaves.com) and click on Forgot Password. The page will be diverted to OTP request link and OTP will be sent to the registered email address. Once OTP is entered in the system, login password can be created.

Yes. Shipwaves provides role based access and permissions with Enterprise grade security. The access can be restricted to the shipment level.
